Weekly Photo Challenge: Changing Seasons 6

More frosty morning pictures…

And the sun peeping over Dunstable Downs…

And, of course, a couple of close up icy shots….

Hope you like them!

Oh Brrr! It’s Cold!

It’s been a chilly time lately and so, of course, I have been taking icy photos.

But first, an non icy photo that I rather like of a poor baldy dandelion!

'I'm dreading the frost!" said Daniel when he realised he was as bald as a coot and the Autumn was turning rapidly into Winter.

And here’s another dandelion after a heavy frost…

Even though Dave still had some seeds attached to his head, which the frost was resting on, he was still chilled to the core!

The little toadstools in my garden also took quite a hit of frost!

Ever had ice cream headache when being a little greedy with cold puddings? I guess that's how Tina, Terry and Tessa Toadstool feel this morning!

And some moss…

Matilda Moss thanked her lucky stars that her home faced the sun. At least by 12.30pm she would have thawed out!

My last photo is a little daisy…..oooh…cold!!!

Daisy knew that it was futile to try to come out now, but she was determined to keep her head up at all costs!

Frosty One!

Ooh am I glad that I have a warm stove that keeps my house toastie warm? We definitely needed it last night as it hit the below zeros!

So there I was this morning, lounging about, knowing I had to get up and going soon, when I thought, “I wonder what the weather looks like today!”

I peaked out of the window and saw frost frost frosty frost everywhere!

“I sense a photo opportunity!” thought I, and leapt out of bed and into clothes.

Here are my efforts….

Saxifraga Primuloides

And….

Brrrr!

Followed by…..

Will she survive?

Then I took a photo of the ice on the top of my fence…not sure if this works…what do you think?

Quite interesting I think!

Then here’s some frozen wood…

I much prefer colourful shots!

So….

Well you shouldn’t be growing in my lawn!

Then there’s the last of my sweet peas who seem to think it’s jolly hot judging by the amount of sweat on them!(?)

Freezing you may be…but very pretty too!

And that’s all!
