“Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not,
neither do they spin; And yet I say unto you that even Solomon
in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.”

Jesus’ words.

“Bread feeds the body, indeed, but flowers feed also the soul.”

I believe this is a quote from the Qur’an.

“More than anything,
I must have flowers,
always, always.”

Weekly Photo Challenge: Dance

Dance is this week’s hot topic and here’s my interpretation!

The swans in Marlow don’t like the music of Swan Lake, they much prefer The Hokey Kokey….with all that putting your whole self in!!

Weekly Photo Challenge: One Love

The sad tale of Eddie the Egret and his love of wild and daring flying!…..

Oh dear oh dear

Poor Eddie the Egret

Ended today

With one great big reeeegret

He liked to fly fast

Just a bit reckless

But today’s high jinks

Made me think he was feckless

He flew much too close

To a small group of trees

He skewered a branch

Oh golly oh Jeez!

IMG_6917

So when you’re tucked up

In your warm bed tonight

Think of poor Eddie

And his skewering plight

Send him some love

And please wish him well

Though how he will fare

You never can tell

Perhaps very soon

He’ll find himself free

And flying around some

Heavenly tree!

That’s All!
