So following on from Cecilia
Some other birds heard what I’d said
About how her voice kind of grated
And left me holding my head.
So a few of them got together
To show how birdsong should be
So here’s some more little birdies
Singing their heart out for me!
So then Bailey started to sing
What a joy-it made my heart feel afloat
I know it’s a tentative link
But just listen to his lovely notes
Introducing Rocky!
But now back to the gorgeous Sir Robin
Sitting aloft in the tree
Feeling so glad of this weather
And waiting patiently for me!
That’s All!
See Ya
Really great pics of Rocky and the birds 🙂
Thanks…I thought it was time to bring on the Rockster! 😀
LIZZIE ! – what inventiveness ! And what beauty !
Congratulations on both, my dear old mate – you’d win any prize on offer. 🙂
Aw shucks…..I just love having the spring singing birdies around again and I’ve grown to love that little Rocky. He was mum’s dog but I’ve got him now. He’s a real cutie and makes me smile. I feel my poetry is reaching new heights these days!!! 😜
If he brightens your day to that extent, he’s a gem !
Indeedy doodle he does and he is xx

The second picture of the Blackcap makes him look almost wistful, and with the beautiful new green buds and lacework of branches and the contrast with his dark body, I enjoy the simple Asian feel of the photo. The first picture of the robin bursts with spring happiness. He appears to be smiling, doesn’t he?
The birds seem so happy that it’s Spring. You’re right, there is an Asian feel to that photo…hadn’t noticed before. Thanks 🙂
You’re welcome.
