Weekly Photo Challenge: Room

Meet Simeon Snail….

Some people believe he is a little pretentious with airs and graces unbecoming to a Common Garden Snail!

Some people believe he is a little pretentious with airs and graces unbecoming to a Common Garden Snail!

But Simeon Snail has aspirations!

But Simeon Snail has aspirations!

Nothing will hold him back in his journey to find room to breathe the clean, clear air at the top of the bush!

Nothing will hold him back in his journey to find room to breathe the clean, clear air at the top of the bush!

So with everything packed and a jaunty whistle Simeon begins his travels….

Simeon slings some grass rope round his shell…..

Simeon slings some grass rope round his shell…..

…..and ties the other grass rope round the bottom of the bush.

…..and ties the other grass rope round the bottom of the bush.

Simeon knows there’s no room for error in these upward negotiations!

So with all his might he begins the ascent…..

There he goes!!

There he goes!!

Simeon has his eyes on the prize!

Simeon has his eyes on the prize!

Will Simeon get to the top of the bush??

Will he attain his hopes and dreams?

Will there be room for him at the top?

Will he indeed have a room with a view?

Is there really room for him in that shell?

Is there room for improvement in today’s storyline??

  1. Only you could POSSIBLY have the patience to record Simeon’s amazing feats ! And you’re right, of course: he looks just like ours. 😀

  2. This is just hilarious! Loved reading through it and I couldn’t wait to get to the end. Simeon (the) Snail. What a great name. Snails are very slow creatures, so you must have hung around for a bit to see him climb up that branch. His neck looks so awkward craned out long like that…but he’s not shy! This is probably my favourite interpretation of Room this week. Thanks for sharing, well done, Liz 🙂

Go on.....say something to me! You know you want to! Dot knows you want to too!
