So I’ve been banging on about my few days in Northern Ireland! And you may have heard me say it was wonderful! (It was!)
But look who I saw on the cliffs on the way to The Giant’s Causeway….
Olly Oyster Catcher flew down without his usual penache and landed a little clumsily!
He steadied himself and took a look around.
It was then that he spotted me and my camera!
“English woman with camera, English woman with camera……Arkk squawk arkkkkk!” shrieked Olly as a warning to his friends!
(It did sound a bit like that!!)
Olly’s cousin, Olaf Oyster Catcher, took very little notice of him and carried on looking intensely at rocks as he was often found doing!
Olive and Oscar Oyster Catcher also carried on with their business….
“I suppose,” said Oscar, “we should show some interest in Olly’s squawking!”
But Olive already had her eyes on the case!
Oscar did what the French say as ‘jeter un coup d’œil’!
(The literal translation of which is ‘throw a glance of the eye!) A moment later he returned his business!
Meanwhile, Olly Oyster Catcher came racing down the cliff to check all was ok….
“Is everyone ok?? Anyone in danger?? Arkk squawk arkkkkk!”
Moments later, Olly Oyster Catcher could see that there was no longer any danger and decided to have a sit down!!
See Ya xx
