Feathers 2-The Sequel!

I loved those flamingos I saw at the zoo yesterday and could NOT waste the rest of the photos that I have!!

So here are a few of them!

Florian Flamingo could not shake off the feeling that he was being watched…..

Florian Flamingo could not shake off the feeling that he was being watched…..

He looked up quickly which is not a sensible thing to do with a neck that long!

He took a closer look!

Now Florian Flamingo was sure he had a stalker!

He decided to move off…..

He decided to move away and have a feed…..

So head down, time for dinner….

"Mmmmm yummy!" said Florian!

“Mmmmm yummy!” said Florian!

"Damn it!" Florian exclaimed…."There's that being watched feeling again!"

“Damn it!” Florian exclaimed….”There’s that being watched feeling again!”

So Florian decided to find a friend….

And off they went together.

And off they went together.

Florian and Freda passed the triplets who did everything together!

It wasn’t long before Florian and Freda were making sweet curls, waves and bends of their own, which rendered them incapable of noticing if anyone was watching them!

Later that evening Florian dozed in the evening sun whilst counting his icky sitars that his neck was long enough to rest on his back!

  1. Love ’em, Lizzie! – the colouring is extraordinary!
What do I have to do to be able to rest my head on my back? I shall read ‘Alice through the Looking-Glass’ again: that might give me some ideas. 🙂

    • Have you watched ‘Death becomes her’? Ludicrous film that made me laugh….all about the elixir of life. There’s a scene where one of the characters can’t die but has a broken neck!! Her head sort of fell onto her back! But I wouldn’t recommend that! Oh Alice….. either book…the madness and imagination….love it! 🙂

      • What an amazing imagination, I agree. From now on I know to throw the occasional quote atcher. 😀
No, I never did see the woman with her head on her back, more’s the pity. [grin]

Go on.....say something to me! You know you want to! Dot knows you want to too!
