It’s sunny and warm so, even though here in the UK we have lost an hour through the clocks springing forward, it means the butterflies are venturing out…..
Tarquin the Small Tortoiseshell was delighted to be able to settle in the warmth of the afternoon and show off his purple-y panels that shimmered so beautifully in the sunlight!.
Meet Pierre the Peacock…..
It saddened Pierre to think that some people thought he was rather stuck up! After all, he couldn’t help the way his ‘nose’ pointed upwards!

In the pond, there was unrest……
Hewlitt the Hooded Merganser duck could see no good would come of this challenge!
“It’s no good,” said Hewlitt, “I can see no good will come of this challenge! The woman doesn’t do street photography! I must call a meeting to discuss the way forward!”
Sure enough, the Hooded Mergansers began to arrive!
“Street life my elbow!” said The Three Merry Mergansers in unison, “More like Pond Life for her! She’s never taken photos of that in her life and I don’t expect she’ll start now!”
“Exactly my point!” said Hewlitt, “The thing is, you know she always like to participate in these challenges….how will she cope if she can’t?”
They all paused to think…..
In the end they decided that they would encourage the woman photographer to just pop in a photo of where she lived so people could see why she didn’t take many (if any) photo of streets!!

A tale from the canal…..
Meet the Geese…..quietly enjoying an evening by the canal…..when who should they spot??
Yes…woman with a camera!
“Woman with a camera! Woman with a camera! Woman with a camera!” honked Taka (Taka Gander-Get it??)!
With a little quick goose thinking Taka honked “Don’t worry, I’ll distract her, she’s bound to follow me as I’m so very gorgeous! You can all rush to safety.”
Taka began to feel irritated that he couldn’t shake her off and turned to woman with camera and decided that glaring would probably do the trick!
Not all the geese were like Taka and a few moments later Goosen, who found Taka’s incessant honking pretty annoying, hissed something angrily at Taka!
“For crying out loud Taka, the woman is looking for photos with reflections in, so get a grip and quieten down” said Goosen who was also a Gander! (Get it?) “And maybe you should Taka break!” he added a little sarcastically I fear!
And with that, Taka sloped off!
And just for M-R…….

I know there is a new challenge this week but I have to finish the second instalment of what was happening with Delia Duck, Dandy Duck, Melvin Mallard and Mendelssohn Mallard, the first instalment of which is here!
There were strange goings on and something had caught the chaps attention…..
Be warned, the next section is not for the faint hearted, especially if you are a duck (!).
What’s the wild swirling about??
You can see what’s going on in these next photos…..
I think the only thing I can say to Delia is….Look what you might have in a month or two’s time……..
Suh-weet!
That’s All!
See Ya xx
And……..
I’m still on ‘What goes on inside the minds of water fowl?’
Take Delia Duck….
Minding her own business, thinking of not very much and hurting no-one!
Then take Dandy Duck…..
And not forgetting…..
When something happened…..
The next moment……
What could they have seen that set them off thus????
Come back tomorrow to find out!!
That’s All!
