Weekly Photo Challenge: Infinite

Following is a brief summary of three posts I did in July with a little extra added in……

They thought they were invincible....

These are spiky Globe Thistles

They’re rough and they’re tough be aware

With points sharp and upright, this was where they belonged!

Just remember to keep your distance

Cos they don’t easily scare!

Something had happened to his sharp manly head, No longer thrusting spikes, there were curls there instead!

But what on earth has happened?

He seems to have gone slightly curly!

And all Alfonsus could do was silently stand!

And isn’t that a bee on his head?

I fear Alfonso has gone somewhat girly!

(NB: This thistle I called Alfonso Allium

When I  identified him I was wrong!

But his name stayed the same for all posts

I didn’t change it-it would’ve taken too long!)

If this was how he was supposed to be He decided to let it all hang out He invited the bees to sample his nectar A globe thistle he was with no doubt!

He decided to let it all hang out
He invited the bees to sample his nectar
A globe thistle he was with no doubt!

But now we have come full circle

The never ending and infinite path!

Let’s see how Alfonso is now

With Summer gone…now please don’t laugh…….

It was true he had seen some much better days, But he still held his head very high!

It was true he had seen some much better days,

But he still held his head high!

To be fair he was proud of his last crown of hair

“At least I have some!”  he said with a sigh!

 His cousin Gordon Globe Thistle

Found his head was a little colder

When he woke up one Autumn morning

To find his hair upon his shoulder!

That’s All except to say…..Hi Fiona-this one’s for you!

See Ya xx
