It’s raining a lot in the UK. Where my mum lives, Marlow, the River Thames has burst its banks. It’s an amazing sight to see where you were walking a little while ago completely under water. Here are a couple of photos from this afternoon….

I hope your mum is ok. The photos you took are beautiful, but I wish for you guys to have more clement weather soon. Thank you for taking part in my challenge again, Liz. xx
Mum is fine, she doesn’t live by the river but lots of poor people had their houses flooded. 😦
Both photos look poetic. The reflection of the second is beautiful.
Thanks…it was the beautiful light that helped! 🙂
I prefer the wider shot. Puts everything more into perspective. But both are poetic, as Amy said.
Thank you. I know what you mean but I rather like the detail in the nearer shot. 🙂
The birds seem to be making the best of the water! That bench and the reflection are truly beautiful, and I agree with Emilio, I like the wider shot. I love it when the light is our friend!
When the sun came out it was amazing. The swans were over on the playing field swimming where they normally graze! The bird life seemed very happy! Thank you 🙂
